Indian Ledge Records views its artists as the gravitational core of its mission. That mission is to provide each artist with the space, time, excitement, and personal dedication required to create and refine the work of art envisioned. Our goal is to nurture the creative drive unique to each artist by giving each artist more direction with his or her projects so the integrity and sustainability of the artist’s vision is ensured.
Through our Artist Services Roadmap we offer tools to artists to help enhance their brand. We are able to incorporate our established personal relationships with other creative professionals working in various mediums to suggest complementary collaborations that can amplify the inherent creativity of an artist’s project, and strengthen a brand. By embracing technology, collaborating, and experimenting with new media we excite musicians to take advantage of goods and services that used to only be available to big label acts. We help bring opportunities to the independents.
We resist and challenge the idea of molding artists to fit any particular or preordained business model. Instead, we aim to treat each artist as his or her own unique business model, allowing the individuals involved the freedom to grow as a creative being and the opportunity to evolve and progress as a musician. The Indian Ledge staff is musician owned and operated. We work tirelessly to produce high-quality recordings, visually and sonically exciting performances and presentations, and quality graphic and interactive promotional materials to help ensure peer and industry recognition.
With this mindset we hope to turn casual spectators into long-term devotees, building a sturdy, diverse fan base for our artists. This dedication, combined with technological savvy and open-thought innovation places Indian Ledge Records at the front of the industry shift to recording independence and artistic appreciation.
